Help! I'm having a long-running debate with a friend of mine...there's an episode where someone asks "how do you say croissant in French?" Someone replies "croissant" and then person who asked says "so basically, French and English are the same!"
Who said that French and English are the same? Skippy or Nick? |

I know someone MUST know the answer to this!
After hearing that croissant is the same in French and English, who said "so basically, French and English are the same!" Was it Nick or Skippy? |

I am 100% sure it was Nick. Nick is my favorite character. It was because he met this french dude, some friend of the family or something, and he was like, "teach me some french, like what is croissant in french" and then the guy said "croissant" and after that through the whole dinner he kept saying stuff like, "pass the pepper, or as they would say in french, pass the pepper". another brilliant comedic moment for scott valentine. nick rules.

I know this post was made almost three years ago, but I'm bored and am digging up old posts. I'm pretty sure it was Nick who said this.

N: Mallory, you speak French, right? M: Yes N: How do you say ...... croissant? M: Uh, croissant. N: Oh, so they're the same. Or as they'd say in French, they're the same. |
