I was watching my DVD of The Golden Girls and the actress, Hallie Todd that played Blanche's neice, Lucy is also the mother on the Disney Channel show Lizzie McGuire. I didn't even realize it until I read the credits on both shows. I was shocked because she looks so different on Lizzie McGuire. Her hair is blond and she wears glasses. What a change from the character of Lucy that she played on the show.

I even recognized her voice and it's the same. The things you discover when you pay attention to detail.

I had seen the actress in various other projects before she did Lizzie McGuire and I was shocked at first as well with the blonde hair. Blonde isn't bad on her.

As for her stint on GG. I thought her southern accent was the worst. That Miami Vice guy was too funny. Loved when Rose was petting the stuft sheep.
