Default WB Rumors?

There is a rumor, apparently from someone close to or tied to the show, that the WB network is showing interest for AD Sundays at 7pm. What's interesting is that even if the only true part of this is that AD is being shopped, that's really good news. I still wait for Monday's announcement, but next week we may have some things to start talking about.

Has WB cancelled anything for next year? Would they have room in their schedule for AD? AD would seem to fit WB's genre very well, and they also tolerate lower ratings too. 6 million viewers a week on WB would keep AD on the air a very long time. Well, here's hoping that's more than just a rumor.

that would be great, but it is a very exspensive show to make. I saw a story on NBC today that they were going to more or less make huge changes to their network primetime shows, due to the fact that almost all the shows on NBC are getting pretty bad ratings.

Tuesday. The day after NBC and same day as ABC.

The WB would be a good home for AD, but does the WB have the $ like NBC to run this expensive show? Well, we will find out Monday and Tuesday.

No they don't(because they don't make as much money off Ads)... there would be major changes since the WB doesn't have as many viewers as NBC. The cast would like face major pay cuts and I don't think they'll go for that.

true. but not everyone on the cast is a hollywood bigshot. so maybe they would stay w/ the show and get a pay cut rather than have to look for more work. also, if AD does get moved to the WB, it could be one of the highest rated shows, which would bring in more money.

Just an idea, but what about a email campaign to the WB to tell them to pick this show up when its cancled (since we all know it will be). just being realistic here

Thanks for the info Brent. I figured as much, but you never know. I just want to hear the official work from NBC and then I will move on. Who knows though, we might just make it. I'm sorry if I'm being too optomistic but it is the only show I really like.

I don't know if this is for sure or not, but I read on another post that WB already announced its lineup and it doesn't enclude AD.

The Wb has announced most of their shows will be back I read somewhere.

Here you go One Tree Hill, Gilmore Girls,Everwood will be back next Fall,

Unfournately 7th Heaven will be back next Fall.

I'm not sure about Charmed, and Smallville, What I Like About You will be back,Reba will be back,Not sure about Living with Fran that will probably be back too. I have no clue about Jack and Bobby and unfournately Blue Collar Tv as well will be back.

So far Ad has not been mentioned as being part of The WB and Summerland will return to finish Season 2 June 7th and I think I got them all..

Default this is so stupid

honestly i can't believe they cancelled the show...i am defintely boycotting NBC....their ratings are just gonna get worse and worse...i mean especially since carter left ER as well...well i hope they are happy with what they have done b/c i am very disappointed with them...it would be nice if someone else picked up AD..i mean anything is possible....

That doesn't matter. If they are starting to shop AD and make a deal it's almost too late for the fall season. WB couldn't be ready for that announcement since all the networks needed to have their fall line-ups in now. If the deal is made, it will be for a late season replacement, or next year.
