Arrow How Good are You?

Can you start your day without caffein or pep pills?

Can you always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains?

Can you resist complaining and boring people with your troubles?

Can you eat the same food day after day and be grateful for it?

Can you be understanding when your friends and loved ones are too busy to give you any time?

Can you overlook it when those you love take it out on you when, through no fault of yours, something goes wrong?

Can you take criticism and blame without resentment?

Can you be cooped-up in your house for days or weeks with nothing to do and not become mean and grouchy?

Can you go through even one week without telling a lie?

Can you relax without liquor?

Can you resist treating a friend better because they are richer or more influencial?

Can you sleep without drugs?

Can you remain loving and true if you seldom hear any words of love or praise?

Can you always, no matter what, be truely happy and excited to see your family?

Can you be a friend to the handicapped without reservation or shame in being seen with them?

can you say honestly that deep in your heart, you have no prejudice against creed, color, religion or politics?

Then, my friend .....

You are ALMOST as good as your dog!

And to consentida - my condolences on the loss of your buddy. I find the loss of my pets just as hard as the loss of a family member.

Sounds like a great idea!

Oh yeah, I agree with you there.
