Default "The Amazing Race 7" finale

for everyone who saw this, what did you think of the outcome?

I thought it was great that Ucena & Joyce won. I was rooting for them, and also for Rob and Amber.

I read an article about it in the Philadelphia Inquier, and they mentioned that Ucena and Joyce could really use the money, as he used to work for Enron and she for Worldcom. So, I was glad they won the $1,000

I love that show!

I wanted anyone to win except Ron & Kelly. They bickered too much. I don't blame Ron for not wanting to marry her.

$1,000,000

They also said they are going to have a baby now(she is unable to have one on her own), so they were talking about invitro or adoption.

I'm happy for them. Ron and Kelly bickered too much. I wasn't too crazy about Rob/Amber initially but came to love them. They really loved each other, regardless of the outcome. They only argued a couple of times on the race which I thought was amazing.

Highest numbers EVER!!! Last night... not just this season, but ANY season since it began in the Fall of 2001. It was also the highest-rated season overall!!!

"House," 11.4/17, kept FOX in the lead at 9 p.m. CBS got a 9.1/14 from the first half of "The Amazing Race" finale. An hour's worth of "According to Jim," 5.2/8, gave ABC sole possession of third over "Scrubs" and "Will & Grace" on NBC. The WB stayed in fifth "One Tree Hill," while "Veronica Mars" closed its season on UPN with a 2.0/3.
At 10 p.m., the conclusion of "The Amazing Race" posted a 10.1/16, beating NBC's "Law & Order: SVU," 9.8/16. ABC's "Blind Justice" trailed with a 4.6/7.

Haha I tuned in for the first time last night I was just flipping channels after American Idol and then I spotted Rob and Amber and I was like hey, aren't those two from Survivor? But yeah, Ucena and Joyce deserved to win. That flat tire thing really sucked for them and I thought they'd lose..but they totally came back in the end. I didn't want Rob and Amber to win because uuhhh Amber already won $1 million from Survivor, so did they honestly NEED another million? Ucena and Joyce were way more deserving of it than them.

Wow, I thought you were just joking at first, I checked TVGUIDE and it's going to be on at 9pm.

I saw an ad last night during Race, but I knew it was going to be on CBS before that.

Series record ratings for the finale- 16 million viewers and a 6.7/17 in adults 18-49. I'm so happy that U & J won, but Rambah certainly was good for the ratings.

I TOTALLY agree! Although I was rooting for Rob and Amber all along - he's an incredible player that really put a whole new spin on the game - it'll never be the same now!
In the end, very glad they came in second to the Houston couple! Just her shaving her head was enough for me - they deserve it!
And yeah, hope Ron and Kelly just go their separate ways as soon as possible.
Another fantastic season of the Amazing Race!

Rob and Amber were good players, but I hated Rob's cocky attitude. I didn't want them to win. I would have even preffered for Ron and Kelly to win if Uchenna and Joyce didn't. But ahhh, laast night turned out perfectly the way I wanted it to! Uchenna and Joyce winning it and Romber getting in second place...the fartheset place you can get but with NO MONEY. HAHAHA. I was on the edge of my seat last night when Uchenna and Joyce were begging for money to pay the cab. If that was Romber in their place, they probably would have stiffed the cab and ran inside to the finish line. But it really should how noble those two were for not going in without paying the cabbie. Best finale ever. I didn't think any finale would beat Season 5s finale, but I was proved wrong.

I wish that Gretchen & Merideth had stayed on for the final 3 but I'm happy that Uchenna & Joyce won.

I would've been happy if it came down to either Gretchen & Merideth and Uchenna & Joyce I would've been happy for either team to win.

@ Rob & Amber.

their CBS wedding is airing in May I've heard. PFFT

It ended exactly how I wanted. Just as long as Ron and Kelly lost, I was happy.

Ron & Kelly I heard on the CBS Early Show are now just friends and to be honest, I think it was right for them to break up with each other.
Rob & Amber, due to their "Survivor" appearances, got way, way too many special treatments, from free prizes, but most of all, way too much help along the way. They also acted like sore losers in their second place finish.
I was glad for Uchenna and Joyce as they deserved to win as they played the game with grace and humility as well as humbleness. A class act couple wouldn't you say. I hope that they will get the baby that they want and deserve.
To be honest, though I adore and love them a lot, maybe it was best for Meredeth & Gretchen, not to be in the final three because I saw the last episode, and it looked way, way too hard and I don't think they could survive like jumping off a bridge and swimming. But I will hand it to them as they lost with grace & dignity and seemed proud of and content with fourth place.
Also I noticed the host Phil Keogan's looking pleased & proud at the oldest couple to have made it that far in the race.
Meredeth & Gretchen, though they wanted to win, seemed to play more for the adventure and fun, than win the million bucks. But that's just my opinion alone.
They and Uchenna and Joyce were good sports playing the race. Rob & Amber didn't show that as they backstabbed as well as lied and cheat their way. They could and should learn something about playing nice and fair from those two couples. Rob's comments towards those two couples, in particular M&G, was cold and callous as well as made him out to be a sore loser.

Yeah, same here. They were in negotiations for a while about the wedding. Married in Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas in April. They're happily married and with the three trips they won on the Amazing Race, will have no problem for a nice honeymoon too.

They were on Regis & Kelly on Friday at Disney and were talking about it. Rob took a stab at American Airlines since they allowed U & J on the flight after it had closed. (He's got a point - if ever they try to tell anyone now that the flight is closed but has seats available, people can insist on getting on since they did it for U&J on the show)!!!

Rob says they're still going to be very busy for the next while. He didn't mention what they'll be doing, but it could be other shows want them on now - like Fear Factor or something. I think they're great. I enjoy watching them and at least they admit so much of it was just plain great luck they have. I know I'll be tuning in on the 24th to watch the nuptuals!
