Default TV's Most Romantic Man

Not to be confused with womanizer, but who do you think are the most romantic men on sitcoms....

Tony Nelson... always was surpising Jeannie
Darrin Stevens....
Howard Cunningham
Heathcliffe Huxtable
Frank from Step by Step
in the recent years one comes to mind Ross Geller ... he chased the woman he loved through an airport to tell her he loved her, said her name when he was marryiing another woman, took full responsibilty for a one night stand that resulted in a pregnancy ,

This is just my opinion: I think that TV's most romantic man is any character that is played by John Ritter. There is just something about him that is so wonderful and attractive. I think he is the hottest man I have ever seen in my whole life.

I think that Michael J. Fox was pretty romantic in Spin City.

Darrin Stephens (Dick York) on Bewitched. There was never any doubt how much in love Darrin was with his wife Samantha when DY played the role.

During the early seasons of I Love Lucy, Ricky could be pretty romantic.

Ooooh, I like this topic. And yeah, I was just going to say Ricky Ricardo. He was very sweet at times and you could tell her truly loved Lucy.
Also making my list would be

Darrin Stephens (Bewitched)- just like Ricky Ricardo, no doubt at all how much he loved Samantha

Tony Micelli (Who's the Boss)- He was soooo sweet to Angela; he recreated her disastrous high school prom night for her; on their first date after she came down the steps he disappeared out the front door and knocked only to have a bouquet of flowers for her; he remembered pink roses were her favorite when her current boyfriend did not; when she wanted to complete her list of spontaneous things and the only thing left was "make out at Inspiration Point" he very sweetly offered her a kiss so she could complete her list. What a sweetheart.

LOL, really!

My choices would definitely be Ricky Ricardo, Rob Petrie, Darrin Stephens (Dick York), Mike Brady, Tony Micelli and Maxwell Sheffield.

If any of you have one in mind, send him my way!!

I think Gov. Gatling (Benson) was a pretty romantic guy. He truly respected women and adored his late wife. He was probably a very good husband.

Everytime this topic has come up I always say the same character:

CHARLES INGALLS of Little House on the Prairie. The scene where Caroline is helping with plowing the fields and the rest of the family is trying to make money because of a ruined crop, Charles approaches Caroline and tells her how beautiful she is. Caroline says she looks a fright, her hair is messed up, her face is dirty, her clothes are dirty and a mess from working the field, she feels embarrassed. Charles gently touches her face with his hands and he tells her, "The one thing I regret abt being married to you is I won't have the honor of asking you to be my wife again." AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW *sniff sniff*...THAT IS ONE DAMN ROMANTIC MOMENT and there were plenty of them between those two. He respected her, he never dishonored her, he loved her and he never allowed anyone to treat her badly or with disrespect. What a man!

^ You're totally right, Irene! How could I forget about Charles Ingalls? He was indeed a terrific, romantic husband to Caroline.

If only he would have cut that damn hair, he'd be perfect!
