Why was Tottie on roller skates during the first season? I have always wondered why Tottie was on skates during the first season, and not in season 2 and on. My Mom says it was beacause Tottie was too short too be seen on stage,so I think she said "Alan Thick" put her on roller skates.

Kim Fields was too young for her character; Tootie, so they made her wear roller-skates so that it appeared that she looked much more taller and older on camera.

I find that kind of ironic. I would think putting her on skates made her appear YOUNGER, but that's just me.

If they wanted to make her taller, they should've made her wear heels.
