Default Is there any TC fan who wouldn;t buy the Ropers on DVD if it was released?

Just asking because some of the TC fans i know have no interest in buying the Ropers on DVD just the seasons of Three's Company. So just wondering if anyone else wouldnl;t buy the Ropers and if so, Why?

That's funny, i thought most TC would be interested in TAC because John Ritter was in it before buying the Ropers on DVD

I agree with that. Even though John was on TAC, I really hated the other characters.

I 2nd that. I dont know if I would ever get The Ropers on DVD. I love them, but I'm more of a Furley fan. I think I would get TAC on DVD just to see John but I'm not that crazy about the other actors as well. I do like seeing Jack in love, but not with Vicky. I would rather see see Jack in love with Janet!

I would DEFINITELY buy both on DVD. I'm a die-hard fan, and I want all the seasons of "Three's Company" and both of it's spin-offs on DVD.

Not for nothing folks, but posting about whether one would buy a set of The Ropers is not a smart move. For all we know, people affiliated with Anchor Bay and DLT could visit these boards for a general consensus of whether there's interest for this show, and here they go and read that some of you would pass it up.

The Ropers deserves to be released, and I for one want it released. I consider the show part of the Three's Company canon. I don't expect to like it as much as Three's Company but I do have a fondness for Norman Fell & Audra Lindley, and I know I'm not alone. Most of fandom at large wants this show, if only because they've never seen it.

But if the powers that be get the overall idea that most will not bother to invest in buying the set, they in turn won't bother to put it out. So please use your heads folks. If you're not interested in the show, simply keep it to yourself. Who knows, you may change your mind depending on how the spinoff is packaged and what extras that may be included.

My same thought! Besides I would feel like I betrayed the other characters and most of all the idea of Jack and Janet as a couple! John is great but still w/out the rest of the cast and w/the producers not having JJ fall in love ...I wouldn't by the TAC dvd...not even for extra stuff on it. But I really enjoy the Ropers their same-old-joke was so silly it NEVER got old for me!! I love their chemistry they were great!! And I've only watch 2 epis from the Ropers and I really enjoy them, while when ever I watch the end to TC even w/all the characters I can't stand it! I just watched it b/c I needed to record it!

I would buy both spin-offs.Eventhough I've only seen two Ropers episodes and on TAC episode,I read what the episodes are all about and they seem really funny.Like there's an episode of TAC where Jack can't "get it on" .I could never think with the way Jack is with women that he'd ever have that problem

I think I would pass on TAC, but would gamble on buying the Ropers. I say gamble since I never seen any Roper eps except for the ones included in the TC syndication.
