Default Which of these CBS comedies you think would make the least money on DVD?

A)Maude
B)One Day at a Time
C)Alice

My guess would be Maude. Lot of people under 30 don;t like Maude

It's definitely hard to say.

People love Valerie Bertinelli, so there is a big built in audience (along with fans of the show) for One Day at a Time.

But with Maude you have the Golden Girls fans, which is numerous.

And Alice was just hugely popular and I think people look back on this show with the most fondness of the three.

I'll guess Maude sells the least, but what do I know?

I think Maude will sell the least. Not because people "don't like it", but because they've never seen it, it was on TV Land for a few months several years back but that's it. As Dlemond said, most people who'd blind-buy Maude on DVD would be Golden Girls fans

I think Maude would sell the least, but I'd still get it.

Definitely Maude, though if they ever do release it, they should find out when one of the Golden Girls sets will be released, put it out the same day and promote the Bea Arthur/Rue McLanahan connection to maybe sway a few extra buyers.

Maude.

I love the show but it hasn't gotten as much recognition as The Bob Newhart Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, All in the Family, etc.

Alice and One Day At a Time were part of pop culture.

And then there's Maude! LOL. Maude was not part of pop culture. It's hardly syndicated so it would sell the least. It would need to be shown on TVland AFTER All In the Family to boost sales.

I'm not sure how Alice would sell, but I think Maude and One Day at A Time would sell poorly. they haven't been seen enough and are like lost sitcoms that some people don't know about. I've only seen one episode of Maude and I liked it.

I don't think ODAAT would do that badly. What's Happening has sold well enough to do good enough for all 3 seasons on DVD. Like WH, even tho ODAAT hasn't been in reruns in a long time, it is considered a classic and has a loyal fanbase that will go out of the way to see reruns again

When is One Day At A Time coming to DVD? I really liked that show, but it hasn't been in reruns in a long time.

Maude

ODAAT and Alice were in syndication for many years until recently. Maude's barely been seen since it left the air.
