I'm sometimes slow when it comes to understanding symbolism in books, tv shows, etc., but I can't help but believe that there's a reason the movie Planet of the Apes is showing at the drive-in in The Lake. Particularly the scene from the end of the movie where Charlton Heston is on horseback with the female riding along the beach just before he discovers the buried Statue of Liberty. Do anyone think there's a reason that the producers decided to show that particular scene when Kevin and Cara are making out at the end?

You certainly think about it.I just watch it,and dont give it a second thought.I have no idea about the symbolism, but you're right.I'm sure it means something,EVERYTHING means something.
