CHUCK'S DUMMY BOB MADE SEVERAL RACIST COMMENTS ON THE SHOW.I WONDER IF CHUCK WAS A RACIST? HE BARELY TALKS HIMSELF AND THE RACIAL COMMENTS WOULDN'T SOUND SO FUNNY COMMING FROM HIM.

LOL. This was a nice question. I crack up when Bob says silly stuff.

The family has dinner with Jodie's lesbian friend Alice.
Mary: I'm gonna check on dinner.
Alice: Let me help you.

I think Chuck was just living vicariously through Bob. It was almost like he had split personalities and one of them was Bob. Kind of like the battle between the id and superego (which is the ego). It was just a way for the writers to get away with saying outrageous and controversial stuff because that's what the show was about. All of the Witt/Thomas/Harris shows were like that: trying to push the limits and get by the censors.
