The classic episode of The Honeymmoners is when Ralph is on The $64,000.oo Answer-and he goes through the Popular Songs category for a whole week...yet never bothered to ask Norton what the little tune was that he always played to warm up(Swanee River). So when he appeared on the show,super-confident,he was instantly deflated when the first question was,"Who is the composer of Swanee River?"He feebly guessed Ed Norton and was led off the stage.

The one where Ralph was angry because of a rent increase was classic because of the gimmick Ralph thought he'd solved his anger with.("Pins and needles, needles and pins.A happy man is a man who grins.")

Cool

"My absolute favorite honeymooner episode of all time" - is when the new neighbor moves in and he's latin and he teaches all the wives how to do the mambo. Ralph gets green eyed jealous over the new neighbor. One of the husbands tell Ralph, I hate when they dance the mambo! My wife (Ms. Manicotti) throws all the dishes on the floor. I just about fall on the floor everytime I hear this!!! They were hysterical.

One of my favorites - Arterio Monocromia, the terminal disease that Ralph mistakenly thought he had (only 6 months to live). Favorite lines from this episode:

Norton: In 6 months, blimp takes off!
--------------------------------------
Magazine Editor: What school did you attend?
Norton (posing as Ralph's doctor): PS 39 (I think), Oyster Bay.
Magazine Editor: I meant medical school...

The episode where Ralph gets into an argument with another guy and his friend"Harvey" at the pool hall. The friend tells Harvey that Ralph says Harvey is a funny name. Harvey tells Ralph to meet him at the gym to fight it out or otherwise Harvey will come after him. Norton devises a plan to have his friend show up at the gym in front of "Harvey" and say the key words " get aload of fatso" in front of" Harvey" and so Ralph will punch him out in front of Harvey to get Harvey to back out of the fight with Ralph. Ralph knocks the big guy out at the gym & Harvey runs aways scared and apoligizes to Ralph. Ralph is estatic about it until Norton arrives at the gym later to tell Ralph that his big friend couldn't make it because he was sick. Ralph than goes beserk, yelling Harvey!

My all-time favorite is the episode where Ralph finds the suitcase full of money (which turns out to be counterfeit) on the bus. A lot of great lines during that one! For example, as Ralph is showing the money to Alice, she keeps telling Ralph that something's not right here. A frustrated Ralph says to Alice:

"All of your life, you've been saying when will my ship come in? when will my ship come in?...WELL HERE IT IS....THE QUEEN MARY!!!"

Ralph: Norton, you're beautiful.

Norton: Now listen, listen Ralph...as long as we're neighbors, you don't have to call me Norton...call me ED-WWWWAAAAARDO!

Ralph: GET OUT!!!!

********************************

Ralph (to Alice): Remember what you used to say when we first got married?...you used to say, "Ralph, I'd live in a tent with you".

Alice: I'm still willing... I think it'd be an improvement!

*********************************
From: The Golfer

Ralph's fellow bus driver(just delivered the message that Ralph's boss wants to play golf with him that weekend): Congratulations, Ralph...it certainly looks like you're going places! (exits)

Alice: As long as you're going places, Ralph, would you mind taking out the garbage?

*********************************
Ralph sneaks home late, after he thinks Alice is asleep...Alice catches him.

Alice: Ralph, do you know what time it is?

Ralph: Yeah, it's a little after 11.

Alice: You're right...it's three hours after eleven.

*************************************

Man, I think it's impossible to pick a favorite among the classic 39...such incredible comedy! To Ralph and Alice and Ed and Trixie, you're the greatest! God bless you all!!

This is such a tough question for me!! It's like asking me to pick my favorite food!! lol!! I'd have to say "Dial J For Janitor" & "A Woman's Work Is Never Done" I loved seeing Ralph in that cute little overall outfit. Then of course there was Thelma.. "If that's the Good Humor man go get me a popsicle!!" ROFL!! Funny stuff!!!

I love the episode where Ralph and Norton buy a TV and constantly bicker over what to watch. There was great interaction between the two characters.
