Angry Annoying Commercials...

Is anyone else tired of the Wendy's commercial where theres a group people sitting around table making noises on how they disliked there salads & then this one girl makes a noise on how she liked it.I am ,that commercial annoys the hell out of me.

Are there any other commericals that annoy you?

I've said it before and I'll say it again...
Any commercial where people are dancing around annoy me. Especially if they are eating something while they are dancing around.

Yes, I was just mentioning this to my sister when the Wendy's commercial came on that it was annoying.

There is one commercial they just started showing that while I don't really think is annoying, but more aggravating. It's one for the Volkswagen Jetta. The lady has her cute little dog in the car. She let's it go to the back seat where there's a guy sitting there. She asks him if the dog is bothering him and he says no, but he opens up the little opening in the back seat and lets the dog go into the trunk, and he shuts the door. I know in real life nothing bad happened to the dog, but if somebody did that to any of my dogs, I'd kick him out of my car.

Better yet, I'd make him go in the trunk and see how he likes it!!

The thing is with this ad that the song was used back in the 70s for 7-UP when they were calling it the "Un-cola" and they had a West Indian guy in a white suit talking like that song.

I don't know why they made it so close because to this day instead of thinking its Coke, I think of 7-Up!!

That's like the one (and I forget what high speed service its for) that goes:

WHEW HOO -WHO HOO HOOOOOOO - WHEW HOOO - WHO HOOO HOOOOOO! Drives me nuts, but I end up doing the "whew-who's" along with it so it is catchy.

I hate to say it, but overall, we have a lot better commercials up here. Humor is used in about 90% and its GOOD humor too - risque stuff.

And there's one really cute one for Burger King or something about having a Canadian Backbacon Burger and how we don't want the U.S. knowing about it so they're stopping and searching all cars at the border and are confiscating the burgers before they get into the States. They end up tearing the whole car apart. Its well done.

American T.V. is better, but our ads rock!

I think you're thinking of Geoffrey Holder.

Was that the guy's name? Really cool, West Indian dude. I never knew his name. Do you remember the ad campaign I'm talking about then?
