It's been years, but I can remember JJ being in a restaurant with his lady. He breaks the news to her that he lost his job, then she dumps him right there. She goes to the toilet and never return. And he's sitting there looking like a fool, as usual.

JJ and the Plumber's Helper. It's from the last season. Bookman's tomboysh assistant has a crush on JJ who isn't interested. He'd rather go out with his high class girlfriend (Sheryl Lee Ralph), but when he tells her that he's unemployed she ditches out on him. When he comes back home Thelma has given the plumber's helper a makeover and the two of them go out to McDonald's. The plumber's helper character returned in the last episode that they produced "JJ and TC" played by a a different actress (in that one she again underwent a makeover and JJ took her out on a date).

And I remember her still being Ugly after the Makeover-LOL

Well, I thought the second TC (Rolonza Thomas or whoever) was ugly, but the first one they had (Bever-Leigh Bansfield) was pretty! What'cho talking about? I wish they could have kept Bever-Leigh on. And that second TC did not measure up to Bever-Leigh's performance. I'm hoping that you're talking about the second TC because the first one was fo-ine!
