I was having a problem getting to my e-mails for a few months. When I finally got my system back up, I had a ton of e-mails from porn sites. Now I am definitely no prude, but I do not want these. I don't know why they're being sent to me, because I never signed up for anything like that. I never even checked about some internet porn. I've tried 'unsubscribing' from each one. That didn't work. I tried just deleting them before opening them. I've gotta to know which ones were the porn ones. That doesn't work, either. I get about 10 a day. I guess I'm just tired of deleting something that I didn't want in the first place.
Anybody have any ideas of what else to do? |

Does your provider have a spam alert thing at all? (Like AOL does - you just checkoff the offending email, and then hit a "report spam" button. They'll take care of it for you. I rarely get that garbage in now - they've really gotten good about blocking it. If you get your email through Outlook though, there isn't that option, but you can "block sender" (although these scum spammers morph their addresses constantly) but it does help a bit. Yeah, doesn't matter whether you go to porn sites or not - you can still get this stuff from other sites that you go to, and then they sell your IP address to other spammers and it can be for anything. |

What I do when I don't want to receive any email from a particular sender anymore; I just block them and then any email from them can't get through.
Do you know how to do this? If not, let me know and I will tell you how. |

O.k. - good luck! We're both willing to help out once you've checked it out if you need any.
I HATE those things myself!! Plus the Viagara, Get a Real Diploma Degree and cheap software!!! Since blocking senders, I usually just get one or two a week now - no longer for Viagara either! Guess they figured out I dont' need it!

Never reply to spam Email messages not even to unsubscribe to it - NEVER! That said, you can easily block up to 100 Email addresses with FREE Email services like Yahoo!
