Guys,
I like the Season 2 and 3 theme song better than Season 1. The last two seasons' intro and closing songs (especially the intro) have more of a bright, energized marching song feel to them compared to Season 1. Who sang the theme for Seasons 2 and 3? Jack |

The Season 2 theme is the most upbeat of all three versions. The third version (Season 3) has not been heard in a long time, because TV Land inserted Season 2's theme into Season 3's theme.
Season 3's theme, is a lot like Season 2's theme, but Season 3 is a bit more down, and less cheerfull than Season 2. Maybe that's why TV Land inserted Seasn 2's theme into the Season 3's slot. You'll know what I'm talking about when we all buy Season 3 on DVD in July.

No, I'm pretty sure there was a third version. A less cheerful version of Season 2's theme. I remember watching the Hallmark channel and they played a Season 3 episode. I could tell because the theme was a little off.
Do you think maybe it could have been Hallmark fooling with the theme? If TV Land could fool around with The Munsters theme, then probably Hallmark fooled around with the Gilligan's Island Season 3 theme. But I was sure somebody said, that Gilligan's Island had three different versions of their theme. I read about it once, over at the tvland.com message board for Gilligan's Island. |

I have never heard of having two different songs for season 2 and 3, but maybe for syndication purposes there was but I don't think there was

That's kinda what I'm thinking now, most likely Hallmark did it for syndication.
We'll know proof positive though, on the Season 3 DVD set. Which I can't wait to pick up!

I'm hoping it's the sand cover, like the one someone previously posted.
