it honestly depends on which motherboard you have in your computer, but in most cases, you would have to reset your BIOS to the default settings.

unless you were previously messing with any of the BIOS memory settings or overclocking your computer I dont think that going into the BIOS is actually going to help you; MS tells you to do that to remind people that HAVE been messing in there....

that said, to get into the BIOS, as the computer initially boots up it should say on the screen to press either the DELETE, ESC, F1 or other keys to enter setup

it should look something like this:

and you must use the arrow keys to get around in there (on that pic, the "Load Fail-Safe Defaults" would be what you want, then "Save & Exit"

I wanted to disable them or whatever, because a site I went to said that if you disable them you won't get the blue screen anymore. What are the BIOs for before I mess around in that?

as I mentioned, unless you have previously set any advanced BIOS memory options, that shouldn't make a differentce.

just be extremely careful if you do go in there, because you quite easily CAN mess things up if you change the wrong settings.

Oh, I've never messed with it before. I've never even heard of them before. I guess I won't mess with them then, because I don't know what I'm doing. lol
