Tonight (5/3), for the first time in YEARS, Franklin was NOT seen in this episode!

This ultimately proves that My Wife and Kids is capable of prospering without that little brat. If the show goes on for another season, I'd love for it to stay this way. This was everything that MWAK could've/should've been this season!

Like i said in another thread on this board, i believe they are grooming ( in a manner of speaking) that Franklin character to spin off into his own prime time show next year. I know it sounds crazy but remember where you heard it first!

It's just one episode. How does this prove that the show can "prosper" just because one recurring character didn't appear on one episode?

You haven't watched every episode this season then. There was another episode (or two) that he was NOT in either.

As for a Franklin spin-off, there is nothing in the works for next fall.

If that's true, then it's not my fault that I missed it. Those jerks in my local broadcasting station sometimes skip new episodes so they can show that crack-headed Billy Graham stuff.
