Guys, I'm so upset! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I went to every store imaginable today and could NOT find TC Season 4..it wasn't at F.Y.E., Best Buy, or the two Wal-marts I frequent....did this happen to anyone else?!! Or are my stores just stupid?!

I am seriously so annoyed/upset right now. One girl even laughed at me when I told her what I was looking for

Who else has their DVDs?

I got mine at Best Buy, but I went bright an early to get it. I knew that if I waited, that I wouldn't get a copy, and the stupid store isn't allowed to hold anything for anyone (or at least the Best Buy over here isn't). I know how you feel though, because the same thing happend to me with season one. I figured that "Three's Company" isn't very popular judging by how so many people think I'm nuts for loving the show, so I didn't bother waking up early to get it. Backfired. I went to Best Buy, it wasn't there, and I was seriosuly upset. I was fuming!

I remember everyone was staring in disbelif at my behavior! LOL! Hey, I wanted that DVD, and I didn't think it was right that I didn't get my copy! I'm a die-hard fan here, and I think we have the right to get our copies before anyone else! LOL! Anyway, I called EVERYWHERE and no one had any copies left. Finally, I called K-mart, and they had only a few copies left, and I made them save it for me. I remember yelling at the store clerk that answered the phone "HOLD THAT FOR ME!! I'll be right there to get it!!".

My advice to you would be to call EVERYWHERE you can think of that sells DVDs. You might get the luck to find a store that has even just one left. That's what I did, and I thought there wasn't any hope (with season one). Good luck!!

Thanks for your advice...I was so pissed at that girl...I'm like, 'Ok, you just don't have good taste!' Seriously, though...no one was helping me even look for it(well, except for this really nice guy at Best Buy)... It seemed as if nobody even had it, nor heard of such a release. I wonder if it's just not selling well in my area? I thought for sure Best Buy would've had it. Anyway, I cracked down and just ordered it on Amazon to be safe

Won't be getting it 'til next week but at least I have it!

Woo hoo, scratch that! I'll be getting it tomorrow at another FYE by my school

He said he'll save the last copy for me!

I cancelled the Amazon order.

Wow! The last copy! That's what happend to me with season 3. I'd run over there right now and go pick it up! LOL!

LOL!!! I seriously contemplated zooming my little VW bug a half hour away to get it....but he told me they close in a half hour. Can you imagine me busting open their doors with a minute to spare..."GIVE ME THAT F@CKING dvd!!!" hahhaha.

Aww! That sucks!!! I got out of work at 8! and then I had to go to my little cousins party so when I got out of there Best Buys was closed so I was like Target!! Since the first season was available there I thought to go there well they didn't have it, then I went to Wal-Mart and they didn't have it either!

I've always order from Amazon but this time I was like I'll get it at BB b/c I always end up buying it at a local store since Amazon takes a day or two to get here! But I should have just order Amazon. My brother is going to go get it tomorrow for me

!! So hopefully I'll have it tomorrow otherwise I'll just have to go back to Amazon!

Hey all, stores running out of copies is, in a sense, a good thing. It means that they're selling out of the seasons sets, which means that we're guaranteed to get more seasons. I'm grateful for anything we get at this point, even if it's not the whole series, but I'm hoping to have ALL seasons in a couple of years, along with the spinoffs (which will happen if sales remain healthy). Who knows how much we'll actually get, but selling out of copies is a good sign. I hope this keeps up (although I do hope you all have your copies before long).

i bought from best buy ;-) but i give to my mom money then mom pick up for me cause i work late.. that why mom home early easy for me to pick up for me it cost lot of money with other dvd with "touched by an angel" season 2.. and three company season 4 ;-) .. i gave to mom over 100.00 ;-) .. that why i been saving long time.. about not too long about last january ;-) ..

oh i forget one thing cause my mom close to best buy her work that why ..
my far away from best buy about 1/2 hour get there.. of my work..

i hasnt watch three company just yet i want watch angel first then three company next then ..

I almost didn't get it yesterday.First I went to Media Play and they didn't have it,then Suncoast that didn't have it.Finally,I went to FYE and they had it.The only bad part was that I had to pay more money

That happened to me yesterday! I went to Target thinking they would have it. Wrong! I didn't even bother asking anybody, I wasn't in the mood to hear any crap for liking TC, although i'd march my *ss over to customer service and complain about them, but like I said, I wasn't in the mood. I walked out of the store and went right home. tonight i'll go to Walmart after dinner and see if they have it. I was pretty upset too.

GRRRR, you and I were definately in the same boat then. I was so annoyed, especially being laughed at. Thankfully, someone at FYE in another town(about twenty minutes away) said he'd reserve it for me last night....thank you, anonymous FYE coworker
