Was it a hot or cold day?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I don't know if anyone else noticed this but wasn't it funny how we never knew whether it was a cold or hot day in an ep?? I mean I know they were inside of a studio and all but I just found it funny how the outfits didn't let us know if it was a hot or cold day inside "Threes Company".

Like was is a hot or cold day when:
-Jack would wear jeans and a sweater while Chrissy wore those short shorts.
-Chrissy would wear jeans and a turtle neck sweater while Janet had on a summer dress.
-When Janet had a pie in her hands and Jack hugged her and she was wearing a sleeveless shirt and since she got dirty, she changed into a turtleneck.

Anyone know what I mean??

Well, I'm guessing that they didn't really care that much about their clothing. I guess that they were probably thinking that people wouldn't catch on to that, or that they wouldn't notice. Or maybe in California, it was never cold or anything. I'm just taking some guesses.

For two reasons why:
1.) California is mainly a warm state.
2.) They're in a studio.

My sister caught that when we were watching The Gift in season 2: Chrissy was wearing the fur coat, Janet had sandals and Jack was wearing a shirt (I think).
