Default What are you doing to celebrate the release of the DVDs?

Hi All,
I'm new here and haven't posted much. Played the round robin game a couple of weeks ago which was fun. I'm just wondering what everyone is doing when the dvds come out. I'm going to have all my friends over for BEER and CHAMPAGNE and watch a Moonlighting marathon. I have quite a few friends who used to watch the show and many who have never seen it (believe it or not ) They all know what a crazed fan of the show I am so I hope they don't care if I say all the lines. Anyone else doing anything to celebrate?

i have the first 3 seasons on video so i probably won't be getting the dvds. but the moonlighting social club will be, and it's going to be fun, because it will be the first time the moonlighting social club as a group, has ever seen an episode of moonlighting, except for the 2 christmas episodes.
i've seen the first 3 season episodes only one time except for atomic shakespeare (3 times)-so it will be fun. it's basically going to a big party for us.

Hi guys,
to answer your question Mlmama (moonlighting mother?), I'm gonna have to wait till I come over to the states next. Moving to Boston, how excited am I? I've ordered the dvds and plan to have a big party with everyone I know in Boston, which is no-one. But how hard can it be to find fellow Moonlighters, right?

That sure sounds like fun, tons of fun.

I don't have any other ML fanatic to celebrate with - I'm just going to my rec room alone - that means at least 2 kids will accompany me and watch all of the DVDs and then re-watch them.

First I have to wait till the box releases here in Holland.
Hope it's not by X-mas, can't wait that long, I think it would be a nice present for me after I had my baby!
That's the least my hubby could do for all that work! :-)

I'll be watching with my kids too. I have one friend who is almost as fanatic about the show as I am. She and I used to work together and we always talked about the show the day after it aired. So I can count on her to come watch with me and be as crazy and happy about the DVD's as I am. My other friends may be counting on a little free food and booze but I'm sure they'll be hooked by "My Fair David". If not, then I guess I'll just have to re-evaluate those friendships.
