On the Offical American Dreams Fan Club Message area, the head of the Fan Club, Leigh, siad that nothing is offical yet. The show still could come back. Anyone who's a memeber of the fan club will tell you, they saw the message too. I'm not making this up, it's right there on the yahoo group. Let's keep hoping for the best.

Hi everyone-

As you all know, there have been many mentions from various news outlets that American Dreams has been canceled. I emailed Jonathan Prince this morning, and finally got a reply this afternoon, and this is the main idea-

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is official yet. It doesn't look good right now, but NOTHING IS OFFICIAL. I am working like crazy to find out how we can still persuade NBC to bring our show back.

I should have a better idea tomorrow from Mr. Prince as to how we should approach the situation. I will email you guys, and all the message boards and lists tomorrow once I know our "plan of attack."

On a side note, I looked at all the sources this morning, and where people were getting the cancellation news. Did anyone else notice that it was the exact same story at every news outlet? Just because it was on CNN doesn't really mean it's official. Some news person wrote the article on all of ABC's shows, and mentioned that American Dreams wouldn't return. However, NBC would not comment. And then, that exact same story, word for word, was on Yahoo, AOL, CNN, etc... no one could confirm it, yet now that article is everywhere. Haven't we been hearing all this for weeks now? Until you hear it from NBC or Jonathan Prince, just don't believe it!

I'll try to have more answers tomorrow morning.
