Default At what point do you think it's safe to say-"I'm not getting the job"

1 week? 2 weeks? 3 Weeks? I have still been interviewing and the job I was really interested in the interview was on April 19, 2005. Monday will be May 2, 2005 so it doesn;t look that good. So just wondering if anyone knows when Do i stop waiting to hear from a job. I personally feel it's a week but I could be wrong. Damm I hate Job Inerviews

A month...you have to realize you are not the only one being interviewed and companies want to make sure they get the right person.

well, you never know because I applied for a job back in Dec, they called me to do this over the phone interview type thing like 2 months later and then 2 months after THAT they said they wanted to do another interview, but I said I already had another job.

The day after I had the interview I emailed the Thank You Letter the following morning which was the 20th of April. Some say you should call by phone a week later as a follow up but I see that as pointless because The Thank You Letter states that I'm interested in the position so for me to call to ask if a decision was made on the position would be very akward for me.

Just so you know, ridiculing someone for having a mental illness isn't any different than making fun of someone for being ********.

I already know you are an extremely ignorant jackass, so YOUR coments are not taken seriously either. i hope you get killed at work.

I thought you knew you had mental issues. I didn't think I was saying anything you didn't already know.

I read that at the end of the interview, you may ask them "How soon may I expect to hear from you." The employer should respond favorablly.

For what it's worth, Georgia's on my Mind could have a point. Wait few years before you give up. (Just don't stop looking while you wait )

I've been evaluated more than once and don't have any psychotic disorders. I'm 100% sane. i just have depression, which only affects moods. so nice try. and i sincerely would rather be a schizo than be as much of a dickweed as you are.
