Here's a story that only GI fans could really appreciate...

Earlier today I decided to watch "Meet the Meteor" and was getting the disc out when ::CRACK:: the plastic on the casing broke!

It didn't hurt the disc any, but I couldn't put it back when I was finished because there was nothing left to hold it in place.

Then I hit on an idea. I went to Wal-Mart and found a replacement copy of Season 2 for about $10 under the retail price. Then I took the old copy to Blockbuster and traded it in. I got about $16 in store credit and they're going to put it on the shelf for people to rent (I've never seen GI in a video store--even the ones that have a TV section).

So in the end it only cost me $15.00 to replace the broken set and I'm helping to share GI with others---sounds like a good deal to me!
