Default Minkus' disappearance

I just saw the last eps of season one. At the very end, during the ending credit tag, I saw Cory,Shawn,Topanga, and Minkus all together in the classroom, then Cory and Shawn focus hard enough and Minkus disappears! I guess that explains why we don't see him again.
Except for that shocking reappearance in the season 5 finale.

Just think about if he never disappeared? What would the show have been like then?

I really don't think Minkus would have fit as well in the later seasons

Was it just a coincidence that they did that scene and then Minkus didn't come back, or was that really supposed to be the Writer's excuse for him no longer being there?

After Minkus reappeared in the season 5 finale, it would have been funny if he mentioned how he disappeared like that.

Or it would have been funny if he reappeared just like he disappeared.

I also thought it was funny when Minkus was leaving he said hi to Mr. Turner, another character who was like was, dropped from the show.

I guess he dropped off the face of the earth or went to the other side of the school.

Yeah, Minkus should have reappeared the same way he disappeared and right before he left he should have said "Oh hi Mr. Turner and Mr. Williams."
