I just read on Dani's tribute site that George Lopez had a kidney transplant on April 25th.
Hope that he has a speedy recovery and no complications.
Thank you George for all you have done to keep Freddie's memory alive.

I thinks its wonderful that Freddie got his star..thats a great pix...

I will pray for George...... I never saw his show but I hear its a hoot!

I dont watch much TV...mostly movies

I do seem to remember a commercial for the show one time tho.

Yeah , I heard that on Good Morning America about George this Morning. I hope he is doing ok and has a speedy recovery.

Actor-comic has kidney transplant

LOS ANGELES Actor-comedian George Lopez has undergone a kidney transplant with an organ donated by his wife.
According to a statement from his publicist -- George and Ann Lopez are said to be 'resting comfortably" and are expected to make a full recovery.

The operation occurred last week at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles.

Lopez, star of the A-B-C comedy "George Lopez," is said to have had a genetic condition that caused kidney deterioration.

Filming on his T-V show has wrapped for the season.

Lopez and his wife, a producer, have been married 12 years and have one child, a daughter.

Hey All,

I was surprised to hear about George Lopez's surgery as well. I was impressed with my hubby, because *he* was the one who told me. It's nice when your hubby not only knows your favorite actor(our Freddie of course), but knows your other tangential favorite actor BECAUSE of Freddie.
