abc1 confusion... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hello y'all

Whilst channel hopping yesterday (ie a sunday), I see a strange but wonderful sight, that of David Addison sat in jail....

Wonderful though it was to see the last 2 minutes of a moonlighting episode (!), how come abc1 don't advertise the fact that they are showing episodes on Sundays as well!!?

Is it me!!? Mebbe I should just calm down!!

abc1 took Moonlighting off the weekend schedules for a few weeks but then suddenly it reappeared on Sundays at more or less the same point they left off. Seems a strange thing to do but from what I can tell they rearrange the schedules regularly so it pays to keep an eye on the listings magazines

Yeah, for some reason on Sundays they've jumped back to Maddie's pregnancy (they actually got past it when it was on weekdays) and during the week have gone back to the beginning, and are midway through season 2 at the moment. I have to check freaking episode guides every day now, I do not trust them :P

What's going on? Moonlighting isn't listed on my programme guide today!

It's usually on at 3 on weekdays - they can't have taken it off can they?!

I know, I was getting all excited waiting for it to come on but it was Home improvement! I really hope they havnt taken it off, I've only ever seen about 10 episodes in full

Wow, weird! I've stopped taping them because I've seen most've the episodes now, but maybe they're doing weekends only or something.

I was in the middle of retaping one of my tapes cause I had the episodes in the wrong order! How typical that they would take it off while I was was retaping that one tape! And they'll no doubt put it back on randomly when I haven't checked the listings and I'll miss those episodes again! Oh well, lucky it wasn't any of my favourite episodes.

Sounds pretty typical of abc1, Gem.. They seem to muck about with programmes so much and don't consider that people want to watch them in order! How far are they up to now?

They had just done A Trip To The Moon on Friday. It's no wonder they don't advertise how to contact them, I suspect it's due to the verbal bashing they'd get from ML fans!

abc1 seem to have totally dropped Moonlighting

. Its not even on Sunday this week. They got as far as Womb With a View - couldn't they at least have shown the rest of the episodes

What?! How disappointing! I saw a Womb With a View last Sunday. I can't believe they're dropping it to make way for rubbish new sitcoms and more reruns of Home Improvement, which must be on at least 5 times a day!!!
