When The Conners won the lottery and all those millions in my opinion that killed the show.

Because Roseanne and the rest of the gang werent funny after that and the storylines really sucked like a great looking guy like James Brolin would fall for her gimme a break in her dreams maybe.

That final season wasn't very funny at all. It was clear by then that they had run out of ideas.

I didnt like it that they were never at Jackie's house in that season. Except for that one episode at the beginning.

Im not sure if the final season was that great either, but I do enjoy watching it. I think they had a good idea at heart. The show was always about that lower-middle class family and how money doesnt always mean anything to them. And by giving them millions we could see how the family would be with money and a good twist for the family. They could have played it out a little better. Otherwise it wasnt to bad. There are some good episodes, like Millions from Heaven.

Question about final episode relating to final season...

Did they write the final season and then realize what we are thinking and write the final episode to change things back, or did they set up the final season to make the final episode?

What I hated about the show when they got the money was it got too serious and sappy with dan having his heart attack cheating on Roseanne and dan dying not to mention all the drama about darlene and her baby it wasnt funny

The final season could have been done differently. I dislike the part about season 3-9 being fake. The episodes weren't of good quality and seemed random and choppy. Seemed like they just made up random crap and filmed it. I was fine with them winning money, but it could have all played out better. Especially if they had won *pinky up* 100 billion dollars!!!!

The way they handled the money too like didnt they still stay in their old house just fixed it up gimme a break they would have dumped that old dump in a heartbeat that last season was just awful.

The show started going down hill IMO when the first Becky left the other was an awful actress and when the first becky returned it wasnt the same
