I'll have to look through this site a bit later. It looks interesting. I'm trying to see if gathering a list of series from the 60's-00's is possible that are not on dvd or vhs and only have a few episodes to none at all in trading circles.

I like the "Television Obscurities" site- it has some interesting articles and video clips. It's particularly cool for finding pictures and videos from long forgotten shows that are not readily available elsewhere. For instance, they have a nice page detailing the history of the "Ferris Bueller" TV show, which was rather short-lived, but I enjoyed watching it when it aired. (I actually saw that TV show before I ever saw the "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" movie it's based on. And I still enjoy both- with some editing for the movie...)
So yeah- there are a lot of neat shows like that on there. But TV.com is a good site too.
