The Parking Space!
I never laughed so much in my life before I saw that episode. It was just too funny-George in that Indiana Jones hat he got from a flea market, the whole parking fiasco,it was HILARIOUS!! Now I want to share some funny quotes from that ep! Mike: Hey pal, you're not getting that space. I mean, I'll sleep in my car if I have to. George: I'll die out here. Kramer: I go in front first all the time. Jerry: Front first, that's how you park when you're pulling a bank job. Elaine: You see, they had to move the cars so the truck could get through, right? But these guys don't trust each other so they got these two nonpartisan drivers to move them. (that was so ridiculous, but funny) Jerry: What are we gonna do, stay out here all night? George: Yes! I'm not giving him the satisfaction, it's my space. George: No no, this is a matter of principle. That would just be saying that anybody could just pull into any parking space any way they want. Well I'm making a stand here. I'm saying *no* to head first parking. I'm not putting up with that. We put up with too much crap in this city, we're not putting up with head first parking. Angry man: He could have pulled up to the car and backed in, but he chose to go in head first. Matthew: No he couldn't, because the other car was already backing in. Angry Man: No he wasn't. Matthew: All that matters is who was there first. Angry Man: Ahh, you're not even old enough to drive, you little puke. Matthew: You just spit on me! Angry Man: Don't you raise your voice to me! Jerry: Alright, that's it. The fight's already started. I'm going upstairs, who's coming? Elaine? Elaine: It depends on who's going. (to George) Are you going? Kramer: I'm not going if he's going. Newman: Me either. George: I'm not going if he's going. Mike: Well I'm going. Jerry: Well if he's going then I'm not going. Newman: But it's your house. Jerry: I still don't have to go. Elaine: Well I don't want to go if Jerry's not going. Mike: Why won't you go if I go? Jerry: Why? I'll tell you why. Kramer: No. Don't, Jerry. Jerry: Like you didn't call me a PHONY!!? Mike: What? (to Kramer) Thanks! Real good! Jerry! First of all, I think you completely misunderstood what I said. I meant it in a complementary way. I mean, you know when people say, 'He's bad', it really means he's good, sort of thing? You know, slang. George: Well, you're gonna have to go to the bathroom! Mike: Well, you're gonna have to go to work! George: I don't have a job! Mike: Neither do I! Sorry, just wanted to share that,I want your opinions on one of my favourite episodes. ![]()

I agree that it was a very funny episode. The best part of it was Kramer congratulating the woman for being pregnant and she really wasn't and Kramer said, "Are you sure?"

One of my all-time favourites, only noticed watching the DVD commentary by Tom Cherones how it goes from Day to Night in the middle of a scene!
Everything clicked and I'm sorry they waited 5 years to bring back Mike Moffat! My favourite lines go to Kramer: "I'm sorry I don't care for that sorry" and the king: "cause I'm like ice - when I don't like you, you've got problems" |

I haven't seen this episode in awhile, but I remember not liking it that much. It was good, but not as good in comparison to the other concept shows of this series, like "The Chinese Restaurant." I'm sure I've changed my mind in the past few years though.

this is one of my favorite episodes from season 3. I have watched it many times. i love watching "phony" Mike and George argue, men arguing is always cool to a woman. Elaine is priceless too.

definately one of the those episodes that really established Seinfeld's niche. Gotta love George and Elaine's made-up story about the evil pack of teenagers. Also love the part when the cars must be moved and other drivers end up putting the two cars back into the same position they were before. Classic!

I loved when Elaine was explaining to Jerry about the "taunting" by the street toughs, then she pours herself a drink, knocks some papers off of Jerry's countertop, and when Jerry bends over to pick up the papers, she dumps the whole drink down the drain, then pretends she downed the whole thing in one gulp... priceless!!

I loved this one too! It's hysterical when they focus on George blowing his top, the man plays anger like no one else
