I've just seen"The Chicago Connection"for the very first time, and rather liked it.Guest actress Jesse Wells I recognized from"The Rockford Files",where she had guest starred in three episodes. But I think my favourite part of this episode would have to be,guest actor Charlie Barnett with his character Detective Sidney P.Stover.He was a riot!I really liked him.His role may have been inspired by Eddie Murphy.Poor Hooker didn't adjust well to Chicago's winter,so unlike LA.

There was a definite Eddie Murphy influence there.
It was an interesting one-off episode and I enjoyed seeing 1985 Chicago as I have a lot of family roots there, but I'm glad the series did not go in that direction. It would have lost too much without James Darren and Heather Locklear, on top of Adrian Zmed leaving anyway. |

Hooker was fighting crime in the Windy City...as he almost froze to death. lol
Charlie Barnett stole the episode with his acting and wisecracks.
