Murder on the Moose-Jaw Express - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm glad I finally found a msg board for us Laverne and Shirley fans! I only hope we get more seasons out on DVD soon. I don't know what the big hold-up is, unless Paramount has dropped the project. (I sincerely hope not). Anyway, my question is this:

Does ANYONE out there know where I can get a good copy of "Murder on the Moose-Jaw Express", from season 5? That was one of my favorite episodes, but NOBODY shows it anymore, even in the re-runs. I don't understand. I remember reading somewhere that this episode also happened to be one of Cindy Williams' favorites as well. I've been looking and looking, but to no avail. My guess is that you people would be as good as any to ask. Can anyone help me out? Remember when Laverne says "The Cocoa's Poison", and Shirley showing up at their compartment wearing the suitcase and getting thrown off the train? LOL! I'd sure would like to see that one again. It's been YEARS.

Brad,

Several years ago, many of the L&S eps were released on VHS w/4 eps per tape. MotMJX was on the tape titled, "Crimes of Passion". You may want to check Ebay. I found several of the tapes that way. Good luck!

I dont know if you can get the Lifetime - Real Women channel, but they just aired both parts of that episode last friday.

(I wish I had known, I woulda taped it for you or somethin)

I need some help I am doing a recital and I am Shirley. I am trying to find out what she wore...I could use some tips. Please if anyone has any ideas please reply!

Welll...I know that there are a lot of clothes from that decade coming back, there's those what I believe Cardigan sweaters; you know the ones that are buttoned up and have a pin on 'em? Shirley would have worn something like that. Then you would need a scarf, which Wal*Marts sell those; i've bought TONS ~ preferably probably a red one for Shirl

And then maybe just some black slacks OR if you could find a puffy skirt, not too puffy, but kinda like a Poodle skirt; that would be Shriley right there

Esp when Shirley, Lenny & Squiggy disappear & Laverne finds them tied up! Columbia released some episodes of L&S on video a few yrs ago. I have a few videos of L&S, though I haven't watched the show 4ever! I luv L&S so much!
