Why am do i have to log in my name and pass word everytime I come on SO, I never had to befor,it's getting me

You probably don't have it checked to remember your password. also when you clear your cookies you have to re-login.

Mine always makes me do that too, and I always have the remember me box checked. It's been doing that since the board change.

Yeah it did that to me to, the old message boards would remember me all the time,and I went back to my cookies and allowed it(SO).

To enable cookies in FireFox (they should be enabled by default).....

Tools>Click "Options"
Click the "Privacy" icon the left side of the new window.
Click the + next to "Cookies". This pulls down a set of options.
Click the box next to "Allow Sites to Set Cookies". The icon should be checked now.
