Who played the better Maggie on Diff'rent Strokes? Dixie Carter or Mary Ann Mobley? I think Dixie Carter played the better Maggie.

Dixie Carter hands down, she had that Southern Sweet thing down pack. Mary Ann Mobley wasn't there all that much, it was like Mr, D wasn't even married, you hardly saw her.

I didn't like the character but if I had to pick one I'd go with Dixie Carter.

im not a fan of dixie carter in general but i still think she was the better maggie

To me Dixie Carter didn't really click as Drummond's wife (lack of chemistry), but she is a WAY better actress than Mary An Mobley was in that part. Mobley seemed to be reading her lines off hidden cue cards. Her efforts at acting in this series were atrocious.
