The son of Red's Navy buddy, Charlie, comes for the weekend, and the gang is instantly put off by his lack of life experiences. Donna schemes to change Eric's mind about his trip to Africa by trying to make him jealous, while Jackie tells Hyde she'll turn down a TV job in Chicago if he says they have a future. Distraught about their lady problems, the guys are happy to discover that Charlie's father owns a local beer warehouse. After a night of debauchery, a tipsy Eric, finding Donna dateless and alone, convinces her to make their final three days together the most fun ever. And Hyde may be too late when he finds a note informing him that Jackie's leaving town without him.

Pretty decent episode. The guys in beer circle were funny and I really enjoyed Charlie's character. I think he'll fit in relatively well with the group if that's who they're getting to replace Topher. If not, then color me disappointed.
I thought that the Jackie and Hyde thing was actually a good piece of storytelling. I was afraid it would simply be a rehash of earlier this season and when it had a point and actually built off of what happened earler, I was very impressed. The ending was reasonably predictable but I did like the Hyde knew what he had to do. So yeah, I think this was an improvement over last week. I'll take it. |

i agree it was a pretty funny ep charlie was pretty funny im not at all supprised that jackie took the job but on the other hand she bugged hyde one too many times about getting married im sure he will marry her when hes good and ready but she shouldnt have to give up something good while he messes around the whole thing has me wondering where this will lead next season.
