Default Smoke coming out of Sistine Chapel!!!

Looks white to me... which would mean a new Pope elected. Crowds are cheering. Nothing official yet and the bells have not tolled.

Hour is strange. They had just come back from a break.

Some places calling it "dark".

Yup - its official!

(look at us - neither of us is even Catholic)

Since they just got back from break, and its only the second day, its got to be one of the front runners.

Front Runners are just those that those on the outside think are at the top of the list...there could QUITE easily be a Cardinal that noone thought of that was highly regarded among the Cardinals

Yeah I watched the coverage on NBC today. Although not quite a devout Catholic, it was still exciting to see a piece of history being made.

But Benedict?! Ugh... I hate that name.

Yeah. It's not a name I would have chosen myself. But, at least the Pope has a choice! That's more than most people can say!

Eggs Benedict is one of my favorite dishes. Now everytime I eat them, I'll be thinking of this guy

Btw, you do know who I am, right?

Pope John Paul II was one of the youngest... only 58 when elected, so, yes.
