Season One DVD is excellent . ..
I just received my dvd set yesterday and I was able to watch five episodes. What wonderful episodes!!! After years of watching Bob Newhart show, I can't remember watching these season one episodes before. Perhaps the Season One episodes were not included in the syndication package???? I really enjoyed watching these episodes from season one. Contrasting that with the Season One set of the Mary Tyler Moore Show, which I was disappointed in (i.e., the Season One episodes really weren't as good as the later episodes, IMHO), the season one episodes of the Bob Newhart Show were indeed very good.
