which celebrities and their parents look most alike? my mom and aunt were talking about it so i thought i'd post it here. who are some of your picks? i said:

Liv Tyler and her dad Steve Tyler
Julian Lennon and his dad John Lennon
Liza Minnelli and Judy Garland
and Billy Joel's daughter looks a great deal like him, too.

Yeah, the older Liza gets the more she looks like her mother.

And unfortunately Billy's daughter got more of his looks than her mom's (talk about your rotten luck)!

just shows he wouldn't look good as a girl . for some reason, Steven Tyler has 3 daughters and 2 look just like him. he isn't very good looking himself but his daughters turned out to be. so some not so good-looking people can have attractive kids.

Yeah I know. I've even seen it where both parents weren't great looking but their kid(s) were.

Yeah, Gwyneth does look a lot like her mom.

Oh just thought of another one - John Ritter and his son Jason.

Even Michael J. Fox's eldest son is looking more like him now.

they're not identical but there is a similiarity. and Lisa Marie Presley (and her daughter) look so much like Elvis.

I know, but if you watch and listen to him for a few minutes his voice is similar to John's and he has a lot of John's mannerisms.

Yeah - its amazing how Elvis' genes are so prominent still on the second generation. Very strong features. Lisa lucked out with the best features from both her parents.

Patty Reagan is also looking a lot like her mother these days.

Lisa Marie's daughter looks most like Elvis though, of all his relatives now. and for another one, Angelina Jolie looks somewhat like her dad but not exactly.

I'm afraid I don't see the Angelina resemblance ('course he's been looking like five miles of bad highway for a while).

there is some sort of similiarity but her father isn't looking his best now (and she is) so it's hard to tell.

that happens a lot in my family. my great grandmother (mom's mom's mom) had 2 daughters (my grandmother and great aunt). my grandmother looks just like her and my great aunt looks more and more like her as she ages. then my grandmother had 2 daughters, one who looked just like her and one who looks like the great aunt (who now looks like her mom). then my mom had both me and my brother, and i look like the great grandmother, even after 3 generations. in my family the genes are very prominent.

I think John Ritter's son Tyler looks a LOT like him....like, wow. Jason does have his mannerisms, though. But Tyler looks like the "Jack Tripper" we all love-- sandy colored hair, nice smile, etc etc...
