Anyone know where I can get Anson's version of the song? (Preferably in an mp3 format?) I found Elvis' version, but I like Anson's better.

You might be able to download it from BearShare. I've found tons of songs from the original to really unusual versions of it.

Are you sure it's Anson singing that song in "Passages?" It doesn't really sound like him. If it is him, he does a hell of an Elvis Presley impersonation.

Nah, I have Elvis' version. Not the same. It doesn't quite sound like Anson to me, either... but it's gotta be him. (Who else would it be?) Either way, that version is the one I want.

That wasnt Anson. I'm not quite sure who it was, but it didnt sound like Elvis, either. Unless the syndicated verson is different than the one that originally aired.

I was wondering because for the helluvit, I tried searching on BearShare (and I swear you can get ANYTHING off it) and there was no Anson Williams version whatsoever. They had lots of versions, but nothing from him.

They aren't different (well, that part, anyway). I've listened to it several times, and I don't really know what to think. To me, it doesn't sound anything like Anson. It does sound like Elvis, but the version from the show doesn't sound like the one from the '68 special. I wish there was a way to find the answer.
