Lightbulb More spoilers for May episodes...

Episode 1.20: Fear No More
Airdate: May 1, 2005
  • 04/05 - Gabrielle plans a big party to bid farewell to Carlos, who is about to head off to jail. Meanwhile George Williams (guest star Roger Bart) resurfaces in Bree's life, much to Rex's displeasure; Lynette is shocked to learn that Tom's old girlfriend (guest star Melinda McGraw) has been hired at his firm, and Susan and Julie encounter less-than-neighborly behavior from the Young family. Source: ABC
  • 03/29 - Melinda McGraw, who starred on CBS' "Center of the Universe," has been cast in a recurring role on ABC's "Desperate Housewives." Details about her role on the show have and for how many episodes she was contracted are not available. Source: Variety
  • 03/12 - One of the housewives is suspecting she's pregnant. She's also looking to buy a new car, which doesn't go so well while at the dealership. After a woman transfers in from Chicago, a housewife feels her marriage be threatened. Source: SpoilerFix.com
Episode 1.21: Sunday in the Park With George
Airdate: May 8, 2005
  • 03/21 - A man is having breakfast with one of the Wisteria Lane couples. He can't keep but laugh over and over again at something that happened earlier (it isn't clear when, but more than likely the evening before) when the skirt of a woman flew up and the lady was not wearing panties. Episode 1.22: Goodbye For Now http://spoilerfix.com/images/new.gif
Airdate: May 15, 2005
  • http://spoilerfix.com/images/new.gif 04/17 - This episode includes information on medical problems for one of the Housewives, the way in which Gabrielle chases an elderly couple away from Wisteria Lane, and a run-in with the police for one of the Desperate Husbands. Source: Get Desperate!
Episode 1.23: Title Unknown (Season Finale)
Airdate: May 22, 2005
  • http://spoilerfix.com/images/new.gif 04/17 - The episode will find one of the Desperate Couples in court, after the female half of the couple attacks a woman that she thought was having an affair with her partner. The couple has to try as hard as possible to charm the judge into believing it was all a simple misunderstanding. Meanwhile, a fight erupts between Bree van de Kamp's son Andrew and the gay gardener Justin, who were recently seen sexually experimenting with each other. It seems this is only the beginning of a storyline next season that will focus on the darker side of Andrew. Source: Get Desperate!
04/18 - Andrew's behavior is only going to get worse. Eventually, it will come out that he killed Carlos' mother. And before this season ends, something saucy will happen between him and Justin, the guy formerly seen in that love scene in the pool. Source: Kristin on E!Online

Question: You have the biggest head I have seen since King Kong. I mean it is huge! I think I shall dub thee Waterhead Mike, 'cause your head is just that big. Now that I've got that out of my system, any scoop on Alfre Woodard's character on Desperate Housewives? — Ericka

Ausiello: King Kong? Really? Well, you know what they say about disproportionately large heads. Anyway, regarding Ms. Alfre, exec producer Kevin Murphy tells me that her character will appear in the final two episodes of the season before returning as a regular next fall. And, "like our other housewives, she's a mother who's willing to go to extreme means to protect her family," he previews, adding that "Alfre will be central to the prevailing mystery of next season." The role of her early-twentysomething son, meanwhile, has not yet been cast, and Murphy says it could very well be filled by an unknown. "If we can find that fantastic star on the rise, we'll grab him."

Question: Any Desperate Housewives spoilers? — Teri

Ausiello: You mean what I just gave you wasn't enough? Hrumph. Well, Kevin Murphy also confirmed that another VIP along Wisteria Lane will be pushing up daisies with Mrs. Huber by season's end. "And when we say we're going to kill a character," he teases, "it's not going to be Mailman No. 3. It's going to be a character we know and love and/or hate." Also in the finale, viewers are "going to learn a lot about what happened the day Mary Alice shot herself. The episode is going to take place as much in the past as the present. There's going to be a lot of going back and exploring the roots of the mysteries that were introduced in the pilot. And there will be a gigantic cliff-hanger in the end." And no, it does not involve Alfre's placement in the new cast photo. That was just a nasty rumor I started right this second.

Default Final three episodes from ABC...

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES – “SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE” -- SUNDAY, MAY 8 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET) – George Williams (guest star Roger Bart) continues to worm his way into Bree’s life; Lynette tries to spice things up with Tom who, she fears, is losing interest; Gabrielle’s latest man troubles grow even more complicated; and Susan gets a surprise visitor. Lesley Ann Warren (as Susan's mom, Sophie) and Bob Newhart (as her estranged boyfriend, Morty) also guest star.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES – “GOODBYE FOR NOW” – SUNDAY, MAY 15 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET) -- Susan makes a decision about Mike Delfino. Meanwhile Lynette takes steps to make sure Annabel (guest star Melinda McGraw) doesn’t come between her and Tom, Bree comes to a realization about “buddy” George the pharmacist (guest Roger Bart), and Carlos’ legal problems take a turn for the worse.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES – “ONE WONDERFUL DAY” – SEASON FINALE – SUNDAY, MAY 22 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET) - It’s a not-so-wonderful day in the neighborhood, as past actions come back to haunt the men and women of Wisteria Lane. Meanwhile, the ladies get a new neighbor (Emmy winner Alfre Woodard as Betty Applewhite. Ms. Woodard becomes a series regular next season).
