Default Favorite Cliffhanger

The show had alot of cliffhangers, which is your favorite? I'm new to the show and I'm anxious to see the Season 9 finale with Jill trying to kill Val.

Sid's car crash. I just loved Don Murray! Still do, but he's retired now.

He was first married to actress Hope Lange from 1956 - 1961. Just a bit of trivia.

I hear Don Murray is going to be part of the Knots Landing reunion special airing next season. I always liked him.

Oh, thanks for that info, Nighthawk. I am so curious to see what he looks like now! :-)

Another bit of trivia, Don Murray and Hope Lange had 2 kids, their son, Chris, is an actor.

The one that ended the 1983-84 season with Karen being shot and Abby being kidnapped. That was Knots' best season and it ended with a suspenseful, dramatic cliffhanger. It left me nearly breathless.

The wolfbridge group, Sumner, the "death" of Gary, Karen's drug addiction, Cathy Geary (what a coincidence her initials were C.G.!), Gary romancing Abby while bedding Val on the side, which resulted in her later having twins - those were great days for being a Knots Landing fan!

Yes, definitely when psycho Jill tried to kill Val and make it look like a suicide. Jill sneaks into the house dressed in a wig and carrying a gun and terrorizes Valene, forcing her to take all of those pills and threatening her children. Then making her write her own suicide note! Of course, nobody would believe Val's story when she survived the following season... how typical...

I agree with Jill trying to kill Val. My other favorite is Peter Hollister's death.

One of my all-time favorite Knots scenes is when Greg uses his "brother's" ashes to fertilize a plant. Classic Sumner.

Jill was one scary woman, that was one of the best cliff-hangers on the show.

Wasn't there a scene where William Devane and Nicolette Sheridan do a strip croquet (??) match? I've heard that but never saw it. Not sure I want to!!

Default Favorite Cliffhange

What about when Val found her babies? That wasn't on the list. I think that was the best cliffhanger ever and gave KL their highest ratings ever. I voted other for that reason.

My second fav is when Karen was shot and the 3rd is when Jill tried to kill Val.

I didn't see that Jill trying to kill Val was on the list, so I put other. I really like when Val finds the babies too.
