Exclamation The Backstreet Boys grow up

Backstreet Boys grow up. In an interview, they claimed that their new album would be no more, "Gushy I love you you love me songs". They said that their new alkbum would talk about adult issues like world peace, contentment, and even sex. Have you heard their new single, "Incomplete" it has a new sound to it. My sister even thought they were a punk group, like Simple Plan, until she found out that they were the BSB. She was shocked! I have to agrre, they did sound like punk.

what is it with all these pop artists professing their "punkness"? It was laughable enough when Ashlee did it, but I don't think anybody is going to take Backstreet seriously.

oh ok, the first post mentioned "punk", so I figured they were going the Avril/Ashlee "we're punk!" route, and considering BSB's history as a ballad-driven boyband, there's no way anyone would take them serious, unless today's tween market who thinks of Ashlee Simpson as the "goddess of punk" that is too young to remember BSB in the late 90's thinks they're the new Simple Plan or some crap,

u might even like their new stuff its more geared towards an adult audience (since their fans did grow up)

good point. they actually made music, not talk fast about their bitches and hoes in the foreground of sampling someone else's song or just ****ty electronic sound effects.
