Looks like they dropped the "11 Alive" tagline from its 'PIX days because the tagline has been around since the 70's. The station becomes WPIX, channel 11 where it used to be an old moniker for channel 11 with a circle around it since it was back in the early 70's. I missed the good old days of WPIX's "11 Alive".

The station was later became channel 11 until 1995 where the station launched the WB. That was 10 years ago.

WXIA-TV, which is the NBC affiliate in Atlanta uses the "11 Alive" phrase now.

By the way, WPIX used to have a "Coming Up Next" tag ID after the end credits and closing logo. This was long before they used split screen credits at the end of the show. Here is that clip.
