Default I hate karate!!!!! (only read this if you are in the mood to read REAL complaining!)

I HATE karate!!!! It sucks!!
I'll try to say it nice and clear so I don't just blurt out everything cause I'm really upset right now......I'm even sobbing.....gosh I'm such a baby!

Anyway, in karate, my sisters are ahead of me, and one of my teachers was such a JERK last week and wouldn't let me go to the next level just because I didn't learn the frickin form/moves yet!! I will NEVER learn it, I swear!!
I'm too stupid to learn it and plus how the frick can I learn it if I could freakin care less???!!!! My parents are so mean and I will never forgive them for making me take karate.

They think it's "good" for me because one day a bad guy may attack me and I'll need to know how to defend myself! RIGHT!

And if that ever does happen, then great, if they they kill me I can finally die and go to heaven! GOSH!

I'm really sorry, I'm just so mad and upset right now, I had to post it here.

Now I'm gonna go back to crying like a baby until someone replies.

I know the way you feel, my parents force me to take keyboard lessons. I have a big exam coming up in June, I don't even know what songs I'm supposed to be playing, and my music teacher got pissed of with me last week for not paying attention. I don't care about doing well in that exam (its really important thing, its so you can go to the next grade) I just day dream during the lesson

Anyways, try and talk to your parents about doing karate, maybe they will let you do something else instead.

Why not ask your parents if you can take up some other kind of activity, something that you would really enjoy and get something out of. I agree with your parents about Karate though. It may very well come in handy later in life. See if maybe you can take a different kind of self defense class, one that your sisters are not a part of. Seems to me like there is a lot of competition going on between you girls making it very difficult for you to be an individual. Anyways I think you are very fortunate to even have the opportunity to take Karate lessons. When I was growing up my mom didn't have the money for that stuff.

If you wanna go to the next level than you need to try to get the forms/movesd right. Having a "i'll never get these" attitude isnt going to help you. You have to have some confidence in yourself

I can't because I hate karate. It's too hard. No other parents would make their kids take something they hated.

Well maybe your attitude has something to do with your instructors not advancing you to the next level. I don't mean to jump all over you or anything and I do know what it's like to be a kid and your parents making you do things that you don't want to do. My mom made me keep a paper route from age 11 to 14. It was a real pain in the ass having to trudge through rain and snow delivering papers while my friends were playing and watching TV and receiving an allowance every week for doing next to nothing. Now that I look back though, I'm glad my mom made me keep that route because it taught me responsibility and the money I saved put me through my first year of college. Do your sisters enjoy Karate and have a positive attitude towards it? If so, that may have something to do with them excelling at it. I've never taken Karate but I have heard that attitude has a lot to do with it. I don't think your parents are evil and I do believe that they care for you but if you were my kid I wouldn't want you to participate in an activity that you had no interest in. Just try and give it a chance for a little while longer and you just might start to enjoy it. Other than that I don't know what to tell you.

I don't tell my karate teachers how I feel, but I did tell them it's too hard for me but they just were like "nonsense!"

My sisters love karate! They wouldn't stop begging my parents to sign us up so they did and they signed me up too even though I didn't want to.

I wish I could sue my parents.

Tell your parents you really, really, really, really hate Karate and than suggest something else you would like to do. Do you like any sports?

I did, many many times. Whenever I say one word about it, they explode! Last time I told them that, they said I'd get grounded for two weeks with no TV or computer. Frick them!

Nah, I don't want to be in any sports. I just wanna excersise at home.
Well, basketball is fun, but I'd stink at it with other people around.
