I say we start our own awards for different catagories/personalities on the board.

We can have catagories such as :

Most Interesting, Funniest, Nicest, Most Newsworthy, Most Knowledgable (will need to break this one down by show, music, etc.), Most Prolific, etc.

I'll start with my nominations for Funniest Poster:

I would nominate TJL and Brent088 as the funniest, with (sorry Brent088), TJL taking the award by a slight advantage. I crack up at almost every one of his comments. Hawkeye as his avatar is quite appropriate!

Please feel free to add or expand on any catagory. Let's try to keep this nice now and not be too negative!! I also invite ideas for the nickname of the award - such as "The Sitcommie".

Most Interesting, - TVshow analyser
Funniest, - Not sure?
Nicest, - Janice & Penny Lane ......sorry girls, i couldn't decide

Most Newsworthy, - Brent88
Most Knowledgable - Robyrob (for the computer stuff)

I think Brent is the most newsworthy especially when it comes to the weather. I much rather read his hurricanes reports than anything the news reports have on TV.

TJL is definitely the funniest. I can't tell you how many times I have burst out laughing at some of his comments. I even read them to my sister.

3 way tie to Buffyslayer, Captain Ablairica, & Steve M. for their incredible knowledge of music. Hard to pick just one. I thought I knew quite a bit but I learn so much from reading their posts.

I would have to think about the other ones and other people. There are quite a few people on here to think of!!!

That reminds me... only 6 weeks til hurricane season. Looks like a busy one! I am making the coffee already for those LONG days and nights in August and September.
