Default 1970s or 1980s??

When you refer to "Three's Company", do you consider it a 1970s sitcom, or a 1980s sitcom? I know most of you are probably thinking both, but if you had to choose one, what would it be and why?

I think of it as a 1908's sitcom. It just had more and better seasons. I don't know any other reasons, but I liked the 80's better.

I picked the 70's because that's when this classic series started and I love Chrissy more than Cindy and Terri combined.

I consider it a 1970s sitcom because:

1. The show started in the 70s.
2. When you refer to "Three's Company", most people think of it airing back in the 70s, even though it aired in the 80s as well.
3. The innuendo was considered rique for that time (70s) whereas in the 80s, it was more accepted.
4. Bell Bottoms LOL (I know they wore bell bottoms in the 80s, but they started in the 70s).
5. If you hear "Three's Company" mentioned on TV, they usually refer to it as the 1970s sitcom, not the 1980s sitcom, though I've heard them occasionally say the 1970s and 80s sitcom.

I'd say 70's because of the clothes.
