Default Why did you watch '8 Simple Rules'?

A simple poll question here. When '8 Simple Rules' first aired, why did you watch it?

I don't remeber why I first started watching it but I don't think it was because of John Ritter. I wasn't that familiar with him then.

It wasn't because of John Ritter because I never watched the show when he was in it. I watch 8SR because it's funny. It's hard to find a comedy now a days that can make you laugh. It sucks that ABC cancelled it. I thought this last season was better than the second season.

Saw the promo on ABC in the summer before the show debuted. I loved John Ritter and it looked funny. After that I sort of became attached to the Hennessey family even without John Ritter.

I watched it a few times in the first season cause it wasnt a reality show. I watched it the second season to see how they would bid farewell to JR, then stopped once David Spade was brought in.

My watching has nothing to do with JR being on it in the first season, it was not until his death that he was my focus on watching it.

I heard about it on the radio and I was hooked into it ever since.I thought I wasn't gonna wanna watch it after John died but my mom said "just watch it.It might not be that bad." So I did and am still into it today. It didn't get really interesting until David Spade came in because without him,Jim wasn't really worth having on the show. Then C.J came in and started getting on Jim's nerves which was really funny to watch

I actually liked the scenes where Jim would threaten and insult CJ and Bridget pushed him around and called him a "creme sucker". I generally don't condone violence but in CJ's case, I'll make an exception. lol.
