Oh but you have to admit she was a riot in the ep where George is visiting her in the hospital and gets distracted with the patient getting the spongebath in the next bed. Her comment about him using his body as an amusement park sent me to the floor laughing!

Well she has to be crazy otherwise George would have turned out 'normal'.

Uncle Leo and Estelle Costanza were great in small doses. The characters of Estelle and Frank were cast perfectly.

She just complimented and rounded out the crazy family of his well. That screechy annoying voice would drive anybody to do goofy things!!

They're both (Unc Leo & Estelle) supposed to be annoying. Uncle Leo drives me nuts [laughing], which is the desired effect. He's not on it that much, except in a couple eps.
The Shower Head & The Bookstore (the dream sequence ) are funny Unc Leo stuff.

Here here! Pretty much classics. Characters like them allowed the show to spread out a little, they could carry scenes, to say the least.
Frank & Estelle (by Jerry Stiller & Estelle Harris) are like a classic old comedy act (like Stiller & his real wife)
