I saw Vicki & Mama: A Two Woman Show! I can't believe it's almost been a year. It seems just like yesterday when I saw it. I hope all of you get the chance to see the show because it is really good.

I can hardly believe it myself... I remember when you were getting ready to go...you were so excited!

In 3.5 weeks, it'll have been two years since the first time I saw Vicki perform live... I saw her the first time on May 9, 2003. I remember coming here almost a week after I'd seen her, and posting about it here. Time really does fly.

I can't remember if you posted a thread about it when you were getting ready to go see her...if you did, can you link us? It'd be fun to see it again.

I'd been lurking here for a long time and registered another name (this was before I remembered I'd previously registered in 2002), and posted this on May 15, 2003.

Vicki's show is coming to Flint Michigan in May. I live only 10 miles from Flint. I would love to see her show. But I probably won't. Oh Well................ The reason being that I would have to have my husband drive me there. He is not so keen on driving to downtown Flint in the night time. It's too dangerous! So I will not be attending.

Your husband is crazy! It's an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Seriously...I've heard Flint isn't so nice at night, and that's understandable. Still, tho, it's only ten miles away. Not that bad at all! Aren't there any hotels near The Whiting (where she's performing)? Oh well... Ya can't blame me for trying!

I had to travel 5 miles to see her the first time, then 110 miles the second time I saw her. I've heard of people who flew in from another state just to see her perform.

I wanted to go to that show, too, but Flint is over an hour away from me. I don't like going to downtown areas either at night, but I'm sure it'd be fine. I'm sure they have good security in the parking areas and everything. If you live in that area, you must have also heard some bad things about Saginaw. Well, I went to a concert in downtown Saginaw in Feb. of this year. Yeah, I can't say I exactly felt safe, but I made it through!

Anyways, it's been over two years since I saw Vicki for the first time. I can't believe it's been that long.

Ha Ha Allison You see my husband couldn't care less about celebrities. But if it was Paul coming to Flint you know dang well who would be the first in line! And he would take me there if I had to do it at gunpoint! But that would not be necessary. My son in law, who is a huge music fan, would get me there!
