...what you're talking about are puns. Irony would be something like the cast not thinking that the show would ever be syndicated and then it runs for 40 years every single day all over the world.

I can't remember the exact lines because I didn't get a chance to record this episode, (I'll have to wait till July to find out for sure
). In "Up At Bat", I seem to recall someone calling him 'a pain in the neck' after the Skipper thinks he's turned in to a vampire.
